Below you'll find a handful of the powerhouses that Serenbe's artist in residence (AIR) program has championed since 2007. As a unit of The Serenbe Institute, AIR Serenbe nurtures critical moments of imagination by providing artists with time, space, and a vibrant and welcoming community in which to create, with a focus on arts, culture, and the stewardship of the environment, with a particular interest in how artists working in community can contribute to a sense of place. AIR Serenbe programs consist of the Focus Fellowships, individual residencies that focus on a specific mission determined by the benefactor, and Project Residencies, a residency program with strategic partners to create new works.
